“Schools in Every District by 2030, Nationwide De-addiction Campaign, and Launch of ‘Vidya Bharati TV’ Announced — Grand Conclusion of AGM 2026”

The concluding session of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026 of Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan was held today, April 6, 2026, in a dignified and inspiring atmosphere. Around 350 office-bearers of Vidya Bharati from across the country participated enthusiastically in this four-day national deliberation.

The session was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Krishna Gopal, Sah-Sarkaryavah of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The concluding session was also attended by Dr. Ravindra Kanhere, All India President; Shri Deshraj Sharma, General Secretary; Shri Govind Ji Mahant, Organising Secretary; along with other senior office-bearers.

In their addresses, the speakers emphasized that Vidya Bharati is not merely an educational organization but a powerful instrument of nation-building, committed to fostering character development, national consciousness, and social responsibility through education.

Over the four days, extensive deliberations were held on key themes, including improving the quality of education, integrating India’s knowledge traditions, the effective implementation of the National Education Policy, innovations in the technological era, and strengthening value-based education among students.

Several significant resolutions and future initiatives were announced during the concluding session. A major goal has been set to establish Vidya Bharati schools in every district of the country by 2030. Additionally, a nationwide social awareness campaign against substance abuse will be undertaken.

A pilot project to establish 50 Women’s Skill Development Centres was also announced, aimed at promoting self-reliance among women. On the occasion of completing 75 years in 2027, Vidya Bharati will celebrate its Amrit Mahotsav, focusing on the expansion and consolidation of its work.

Keeping pace with modern developments, new digital education initiatives and platforms will be launched soon. Furthermore, the organization announced the launch of ‘Vidya Bharati TV’ to disseminate educational, cultural, and value-based content.

The session also highlighted that, in the present global scenario, the relevance of education rooted in the Indian ethos has increased significantly, and Vidya Bharati will continue to strengthen its efforts in this direction.

The event concluded with a collective resolve by all participants to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to the noble mission of nation-building.
